Cindy is an international speaker who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She has spent her entire career working with the medically complex patient. She began her career at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia and when she moved to Phoenix, she founded the dental department at Good Samaritan Hospital Rehabilitation Institute. Cindy became faculty at Phoenix College in 1987, teaching the treatment of bedridden patients in the “Homebound” program; she also taught “Medical Emergencies” there for ten years and is a certified CPR instructor. Currently Cindy provides clinical care at a nursing facility and consults with hospital ICU nurses throughout the world on control of oral infection. She has been profiled in six national journals and has received four awards for providing unique care.

 Karen Davis, RDH, BSDH

Karen Davis is founder of, “Cutting Edge Concepts”® a professional continuing education company, and her more than 30 years of expertise in dentistry enables her to offer dynamic, challenging presentations with practical and motivating information that can revolutionize the business of dentistry.  Her experience as a consultant and dental hygienist has enabled her to carry her message of comprehensive care internationally.  Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern State University of Wichita Falls, Texas.  

She is recognized as a Top Clinician in Continuing Education in Dentistry Today, serves on the Review Board for DentalAntioxidants.com, and is on the Corporate Council for Dimensions of Dental Hygiene.  Karen has served on numerous advisory boards and has served as a Key Opinion Leader to many companies in the profession. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and one of the founding members of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health.
